Between Kandy and the Pinnawela elephant orphanage you find the resort in the middle of the jungle. It is the ideal location for people who want to rest, enjoy nature and who want to experience real Sri Lankan village life. We organise various excursions in the area both by foot or our own threes haw. The sportive guests can use our mountain bikes to explore the surroundings.
As the owner of a star class restaurant in the Netherlands wrote in our guestbook, we serve the finest rice and curries of the country. We grow our vegetables in our own garden where the guests can choose their evening meal.

how to find us
By air: The hotel is located 60 km from the International airport Bandaranaike. Coming from the airport take the A1 (Kandy road). After Km 88 you turn left after the Catholic Church. A rough road of 6 km brings you to the hotel.
By road: Coming from Kandy, after Km 89 you take the first road to your right after Spice Garden 66
how this holiday makes a difference
 Being the only employer in the village the hotel plays an important role in the village of Ilukgoda. Not only our staff members benefit of this but the whole society is more or less involved in it. We sponsor several activities in the village and the computer classes and English classes given in the Community Hall give the people a better chance in thee future.We encourage our guests to join one of the classes to contribute to the knowledge of the children and the elder people. |
