It is rare for local operators to be able to help with the booking of your flights.how this holiday makes a difference
|
We employ local people directly wherever possible eg. when we organize traditional Polish cuisine or preserves making workshops. The offer gives the opportunity of having an individual assistant – a personal interpreter and guide. We use local guides for this tasks wherever possible and encourage them to improve their skills.
The hosts Dorota and Stanislaw are local farmers. Wherever possible they use their own organic fruit and vegetables grown on farm next to the house. They offer home prepared meals using organic products from the farm: home baked bread, butter, ham, honey and others. Your house will be situated a minute’s walk from the farm which will give your children an opportunity to befriend with the animals. Guests are encouraged to behave in an environmentally responsible manner. We encouraging our customers to purchase locally manufactured products (eg organic food products, sculptures, bas-reliefs, icons, paintings or musical instruments) rather than imported alternatives, and buy gifts and crafts from local shops and market. |
Tourism can be good and bad for destinations & local people. We carefully screen every holiday against our criteria for responsible travel. 'Look behind the brochure' to find how each holiday makes a difference (see left). We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've led the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays. We invite every traveller to write a review about their experiences and responsible tourism. This valuable feedback is sent to the people who run the holidays. We keep a very close eye on it and take off holidays that don't live up to our standards. |
